“We need four hugs a day for survival, eight hugs a day for maintenance, and twelve hugs a day for growth.”

Virgina Satir

Sometimes what we need most is a conversation, sometimes a deeper exploration, and sometimes simply an outside perspective. I offer systemic counseling, psychotherapy under the German Heilpraktikergesetz and supervision – three distinct but complementary forms of support, each with its own strengths.

Not sure which offer is right for your situation?

Systemic Counseling

As a systemic counselor, I support you in a short-term, solution-focused, and practical way – for example when facing decisions, conflicts, separations, or life crises without a clinical diagnosis. Over the course of 3–10 sessions, we set clear goals, activate resources, and open up new perspectives.

Systemic Therapy

As a licensed Heilpraktikerin fΓΌr Psychotherapie, I treat mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, adjustment or stress-related disorders, and trauma-related symptoms – based on careful diagnostics, an individual treatment plan, and a wide range of therapeutic methods. In acute crises or in cases of severe psychiatric illness, I cooperate closely with physicians or clinics.

Supervision

In supervision, I accompany professionals, teams, and organizations in reflecting on communication, roles, and collaboration. The aim is to better understand dynamics, resolve conflicts, and expand options for action – leading to greater clarity, humanity, and team strength.

A flexible approach – tailored to you

Unlike state-approved psychotherapists, who are restricted to four standardized methods (psychodynamic therapy, psychoanalysis, behavioral therapy, systemic therapy), as a Heilpraktikerin fΓΌr Psychotherapie I can draw flexibly from different schools of thought. This allows me to select and combine what best suits your needs.

My toolbox includes, among others:

  • Systemic approaches
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Person-centered counseling after Carl Rogers
  • Positive Psychology
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Schema Therapy
  • Parts work / inner parts work
  • Family and constellation work (e.g. with the systemic board)

Additional Benefits

  • Flexible scheduling, including short-term appointments
  • Confidentiality and professional secrecy
  • No reporting to health insurance providers or employers
  • Partial reimbursement often possible through private or supplemental health insurance
  • Immediate – also as interim support while waiting for a place in state-funded psychotherapy

What is Systemic Counseling?

In systemic counseling, you as a whole person are at the center – with your relationships, thoughts, and feelings. We don’t just look at an isolated problem but also at the broader context and the interactions that shape your life.

Challenges often arise at the intersection of different areas of life, whether in partnership, family, work, or personal development. Counseling helps to make these connections visible, to gain new perspectives, and to expand your options for action.

The focus is on your resources and on developing strategies that are sustainable in everyday life. My approach combines systemic principles with the values of humanistic psychology: every person carries within them the desire for growth, connection, and meaning.

I am inspired by Virginia Satir, who placed humanity and development at the center of her systemic family therapy, and by Carl Rogers, whose person-centered counseling emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard.

What is Systemic Therapy?

Systemic therapy is intended for people experiencing psychological distress or mental disorders that go beyond what counseling alone can address – for example depression, anxiety, adjustment or stress-related disorders, obsessive symptoms, psychosomatic complaints, sleep problems, or grief reactions.

It begins with a thorough initial consultation including anamnesis and diagnostics. Based on this, we develop an individual treatment plan together. Sessions usually last 50 minutes, and for couples, relationship constellations, or families, sometimes a bit longer. Progress and effectiveness are regularly reviewed.

My therapeutic work is trauma-informed, resource-oriented, and affirming of diverse ways of living and loving. It is fully confidential. For self-paying clients, no diagnoses are shared with insurance providers or employers. Partial reimbursement is possible with some private or supplemental health insurance plans.

What is Supervision?

Supervision provides space for reflection in a professional context. It is designed for professionals, teams, leaders, and organizations that wish to reflect on and further develop their communication, roles, and collaboration.

Typical occasions include case supervision, team conflicts, or questions of communication and structure. The goal is to gain new perspectives, clarify roles, and strengthen cooperation.

I offer individual, team, and group supervision – flexibly on-site, and individual supervision also online. My approach is systemic, solution-focused, and resource-oriented. This creates a space where you can gain clarity, expand your scope for action, and develop sustainable solutions.

There is a crack in everything, that is how the light gets in.
